OUR CLUB
To promote the fascinating art of Bonsai, to a broad base of people, in a friendly, informative and welcoming environment and provide a meeting place for enthusiasts to get together and exchange ideas, whilst working on their trees. Our club is not one of competition, but one of education and co-operation.
MEETINGS
The Club meets on the second Saturday of the month at Warner’s Bay Girl Guide Hall, corner of Burton and Lamington Rds. Mount Hutton. Committee meetings commence at 9.30 a.m. with the workshop commencing at 10.30 a.m. The club Tutor and other senior members are there to advise anyone who requires assistance. The venue is booked till 4.00p.m.
DEMONSTRATIONS
Demonstration will be held every second or third month.
The other month's will be a workshop only with Tutors & Senior members helping any one who requires it.
Demonstration when on will commence at approx 11.ooam for those interested. The club Tutor, Senior Members or Invited Guests conduct these demonstrations on varied and interesting subjects. Duration is generally one hour, unless an invited guest is giving a major demonstration.

EXHIBITION TABLE
Members are encouraged to bring along a tree to inspire other members or one that is of particular interest. Sometimes we have a “Style Theme” for the month and trees in this category show our newer members what can be achieved.
LIBRARY
The club library has an extensive range of books, magazines, videos and D.V.D.’s, as well as a vast number of newsletters from associated clubs. All club demonstrations are recorded onto D.V.D.s for future reference and for those who cannot attend all meetings
TOOLS
A full set of club tools is available to members for use during workshops, these include not only the regular bonsai tools, but a range of power carving tools as well.
SALES
An area is available for members to bring along plants, pots, bonsai, tools etc., both new and second hand, to be sold. The club’s commission is 10% to members.
The club carries a supply of wire at near wholesale price.
New tools and pots are always available.
FEES
Determined by the committee and is currently set at $52 per annum. Family rate is $57 per annum if living at the same address.
